This is a sublime piece of work from the genius that is Phil Judd. For me, there’s a sense of emptiness and loneliness with the music & lyrics but with an underlining sense of contentment and possibility. I think it’s an almost perfect soundtrack to the lockdown. I love the segment of Baby & the Bathwater leading into the gorgeous Play it Strange and ending in Tranquillina. I am also currently submerged in Love Crusade & Kite Flying Day. Play it Strange...Play it Relentlessly

Planet Sublime has proven to be my gateway drug to a full Phil Judd addiction. I've been a fan of Phil's art and music for decades, but was unaware of his more recent, extremely prolific period of music making. To my ears, Mr. Judd's creativity knows no limits. I am loving the new songs, and I look forward to investigating all of his solo recordings.
